Move Point/Line with Specific Values
- Select and edit points and lines.
- Select the 
Edit Pattern tool from the 2D toolbar.
- Or, navigate to the Main Menu and select 2D pattern ▶ Edit ▶ Edit Pattern.
- With Click
- Navigate to the 2D window and click on the point or line to be selected. - With Lasso Selection
- With the Edit Pattern tool selected, double-click on the 2D window to activate the Lasso Selection.
- Create marquee box around the points or lines to be selected.
- Click the start point again to complete the marquee box.
- All points and lines within the marquee box will be selected and highlighted in yellow.
- The points and lines must be fully enclosed in the marquee box to properly select them.
- While selecting the points and lines, hold down the Shift key on the keyboard to select multiple points and lines.
- Or, click and drag to encompass all points and lines to be selected within the marquee box.
- With the Edit Pattern tool selected, click and drag the point or line to move the selected item.
Move Point/Line with Arrow Keys
- When the Edit Pattern tool selected, click the point or line to be moved.
- Then, used the arrow keys on the keyboard to move the selected item.
- When using the arrow keys, the selected item will move in 0.25 in increment.
Move Point/Line with Specific Values
- With the Edit Pattern tool selected, click and drag the point or line to be moved.
- Right-click on the 2D window to open the Moving Distance window.
- Enter Distance Moved and click OK.
- The selected item will move based on the settings.
- With the Edit Pattern tool selected, click and drag the point or line to be moved.
- While dragging the item, hold down the Shift key on the keyboard to activate the guidelines.
- The selected point or line can be moved in a straight line or a diagonal line.
- With the Edit Pattern tool selected, click and drag the point or line to be moved.
- While dragging the item, hold down the Ctrl key on the keyboard to activate the guidelines.
- The selected point or line can be moved in the selected item’s slope.
