Clone as Internal Shape
- Create an Internal Shape identical to a Pattern.
- Navigate to the 2D toolbar and select the 
Transform pattern tool or the 
Edit Pattern tool.
- Right click on the desired pattern and select Clone as Internal Shape.
- The duplicated Internal Shape will follow along the mouse cursor.
- Click on the 2D window to paste the duplicated Internal Shape.
- The selected Pattern will be cloned as an Internal Shape.
