- Edit identical Patterns simultaneously.
Apply Instance Pattern
- Navigate to the 2D toolbar and select the 
Transform Pattern tool or 
Edit Pattern tool.
- Right-click on the Patterns to be linked and select Apply Linked Editing – Instance Pattern from the pop-up menu.
- The linked Patterns will be highlighted in yellow-green.
- The linked Patterns can be edited at the same time.
- Navigate to the 2D toolbar and select the Transform Pattern tool or the Edit Pattern tool.
- Right-click on the Patterns to be unlinked and select Remove Linked Editing from the pop-up menu.
- The linked Patterns will be separated.
- The Patterns can be edited individually.

Hi ,
I'm doing the tutorials and everything is fine and well explained but in the "Part 2.1 Editing Shapes, Internal Shapes, & Symmetry " when I clone my half pattern using "symmetric pattern with sewing " then select my two pieces to remove linked editing and try to apply linked editing again , this option is dark grey and it's impossible to re-link the patterns again ...I'm not doing any changes on my patterns between each manipulations . Do you have a solution ?
