- Measure specific length of the Avatar, arm length and back length, by going over the curves of the Avatar’s surface.
- Select the 
Surface Tape Measurement tool from the 3D Toolbar by holding down the 
Basic Tape Measurement tool for more than two seconds or navigate to and select Main Menu ▶ Avatar ▶ Measurement ▶ Surface Tape Measurement.
- Select the Surface Tape Measurement tool from the 3D Toolbar by holding down the Basic Tape Measurement tool for more than two seconds.
- Click on the Avatar to create the start point.
- Drag the mouse as an orange line and point follow along the mouse.
- Double click on the Avatar to complete the length measurement.
- When the length is measured properly, the line will be highlighted in yellow and the measurement will appear next to the line.
