- Select patterns in the 2D and 3D windows.
- Select the Transform Pattern tool or the
Edit Pattern tool from the 2D toolbar.
- Select the Select/Move tool from the 3D toolbar.
Transform Pattern Tool
- Select with Clicks
- Select the Transform Pattern tool from the 2D toolbar.
- Hover over the pattern to be selected as its outline will be highlighted in light-blue.
- Click on the pattern. The Selected pattern will be highlighted in yellow.
- Lasso Selection
- Double click on the 2D window to activate the Lasso Selection.
- Click around the pattern to be selected to create the Lasso Selection.
- Click the start point again to complete.
- Patterns encompassed within the Lasso Selection will be selected and highlighted in yellow.
- The patterns must be fully enclosed in the Lasso Selection to be properly selected.
- Select with Clicks
- Select the Edit Pattern tool from the 2D toolbar.
- With the Edit Pattern tool, points and segments can be selected. Double click the point or the segment to select the entire pattern.
- Lasso Selection
- Double click on the 2D window to activate the Lasso Selection.
- Click around the pattern to be selected to create the Lasso Selection.
- Click the start point again to complete.
- Patterns encompassed within the Lasso Selection will be selected and highlighted in yellow.
- The patterns must be fully enclosed in the Lasso Selection to be properly selected.
- When the pattern is selected, its properties will appear in the Property Editor.
- Click on the 2D window to Deselect Patterns.
- Originally selected patterns will no longer be highlighted in yellow.
- To select multiple patterns, points, or segments, hold down the Shift key on the keyboard and select the items to be selected.
- Select the Select/Move tool from the 3D toolbar.
- Click on the 3D pattern to select and click on the 3D window to deselect.
- To select more than one patterns, hold down the Shift key on the keyboard and click on patterns to be selected.
- To select all patterns in the 2D window, click and drag to encompass them with the marquee box.
- Or, hit the Ctrl+A keys on the keyboard to select all patterns in both 2D and 3D windows.
- When you hit the Ctrl+A keys while the Edit Sewing tool is activated, all sewing lines will be selected.
- Likewise, when you hit the Ctrl+A keys while the Select/Move Button tool is activated, all buttons will be selected in the 3D window.
