- Create Pins on 3D Garments to fix parts of the Garment during Simulation and Animation.
- Hold down the Pin (Box) tool on the 3D toolbar to access the child menus. Then, select the
Pin (Lasso) tool from the 3D toolbar.
- Or, navigate to the Main Menu and select 3D Garment ▶ Pin (Lasso)
- Select the Pin (Lasso) tool from the 3D toolbar.
- Patterns in the 2D window and 3D window will appear in red Mesh structure.
- Click and drag on the Pattern to freehand desired shape of Lasso selection and apply Pins within the Lasso selection
- Activate the Simulation tool. Click and drag the Pin on the 3D Garment as the Garment moves along the mouse.
- Deactivate the Simulation tool. Click the Pin to access the Gizmo tool. Use the Gizmo to move the selected Pin. Simulate again to apply the change to the 3D Garment.

- To delete Pins on particular area, hold down the Ctrl key on the keyboard to click and drag to encompass the desired area in the 2D window. Pins created on that area will be deleted.
- To invert the Pin selection, hold down the Shift key on the keyboard to click and drag on the 3D Garment.
- Pins will be created on the parts originally did not have Pins and will be highlighted in red.
- Double click on the Pattern outline in the 2D or 3D window to create Pins on a segment.
- Double click within the Pattern in the 2D or 3D window to create Pins on a Pattern.
