Create Internal Shapes with Curves
Create Internal Lines with Specific Values
- Create Internal Lines and Internal Shapes within Patterns.
- Select the Internal Polygon/Line tool from the 2D toolbar.
- Or, navigate to the Main Menu and select 2D pattern ▶ Create ▶ Internal Polygon/Line.
- Select the Internal Polygon/Line tool and click within the Pattern to draw desired shape of Internal Shape.
- Click the start point again to complete the Internal Shape.
Create Internal Shapes with Curves
- Hold down the Ctrl key while clicking within the Pattern to create curves with the free curve point.
- Or, click and drag the mouse while adding a point within the Pattern to create curves with AI Bezier handles.
Create Internal Lines with Specific Values
- Click and then right click within the Pattern to access the Create Internal Polygon window.
- Type in the desired values to Length and Position.
- Click to create a start point.
- Continue to click to make the desired shape of an Internal Line.
- Double click to complete.
- Hold down the Shift key on the keyboard to add points in a straight line or a diagonal line.
- While creating the Internal Lines or Shapes, hit the Delete key on the keyboard to cancel the last action.
- While creating the Internal Lines or Shapes, hit the Esc or Ctrl+Z keys on the keyboard to cancel all actions.
