- Create Ellipse or circle in 2D window.
- Select the Ellipse tool from the 2D toolbar.
- Free-hand an Ellipse
- Select theEllipse tool from the 2D toolbar, and then navigate to the 2D window.
- Click and drag on the 2D window as the preview of an Ellipse appears.
- Hold down the Shift key on the keyboard to create a Circle.
- When the desired shape of an Ellipse or a Circle is achieved, release the mouse.
- An Ellipse or a Circle Pattern is created based on the settings. - Use Diameter & Radius
- Select theEllipse tool from the 2D toolbar, and then navigate to the 2D window.
- Click on the 2D window. The Create Ellipse Window appears.
- Enter desired values for Width, Height, Diameter, and Radius. Then, hit OK.
- An Ellipse or a Circle Pattern is created based on the settings. - Use Circumference
- Select theEllipse tool from the 2D toolbar, and then navigate to the 2D window.
- Click on the 2D window. The Create Ellipse window appears.
- Enter desired values for Circumference.
- An Ellipse or Circle Pattern is created based on the settings. - Create and Replicate Ellipses
- Select theEllipse tool from the 2D toolbar, and then navigate to the 2D window.
- Click on the 2D window. The Create Ellipse window appears.
- Interval: type in the distance between the Ellipses.
- Angle: type in the angle that replicated Ellipses will be created.
- Number of Shapes: type in the number of Ellipses to be replicated.
- Click OK.
- The Ellipses are created based on the settings above.
