- Add point to Pattern outlines and Internal Lines to split them.
- Select the Add Point/Split Line tool from the 2D toolbar.
- Or, navigate to Main Menu and select 2D Pattern ▶ Edit ▶ Add Point/Split Line.
- Add point to Pattern outlines.

- Select the Add Point/ Split Line tool from the 2D toolbar. Then, right click on a segment and select Split.
- The Split Line window will appear. Click Split into Two Lines.
- The selected line will be divided into two different length segments on the basis of the purple guide point. The desired length can be entered in the Line 1, the shorter segment and the Line 2, the longer segment.

- Select the Add Point/ Split Line tool from the 2D toolbar. Then, right click on a segment and select Split.
- The Split Line window will appear. Click Split by Length.
- Segment Length: points will be added to the line with the Segment Length Interval, starting from one side of the line.
- Number of Segments: set how many segments the line will be divided into.
- Direction: set toward which direction the points will be added.
- Select the Add Point/Split Line tool from the 2D toolbar. Then, right click on a segment and select Split.
- The Split Line window will appear. Click Uniform Split.
- Number of Segments: set how many segments the line will be equally divided into.
