Comments
When importing, it says 'This is an unsupported file type, When saving the AI file, please check the option 'create PDF compatible file'. I re-saved my file making sure the option was checked and it still came up with the same error message.I also tried to import the same pattern as a PDF and this did not work either.
Can't export my file either. It says "Failed to export the AI file. The file may be open in another application." I have closed all of the other applications, but still, it just doesn't want to save it.
Can not import AI-foles too.
Get the message create PDF compatible file, in AI we have checked al options
Me too, I can't import AI files neither PDF / AI or transformed DFX File. So I have to draw all Technical Draws new in Clo3d ?
Test it with structured Layers like this one:
CURRENT_LAYER=0
BOUNDARY_LINE=1 (Contour Line)
TURN_POINTS=2
CURVE_POINTS=3
NOTCHES=4
GRADE_REFERENCE_LINES=5
MIRROR_LINE=6
GRAIN_LINE=7
INTERNAL_LINES=8
STRIPE_REFERENCE_LINES=9
PLAID_REFERENCE_LINES=10
INTERNAL_CUT_OUTS=11
CUTTER_INSTRUCTIONS=12
FIRST_DRILL_HOLES=13
SEW_LINES=14
SECOND_DRILL_HOLES=15
TEXT=19
DEF_BLOCK_NOTCH=HBD_TAC
I import DXF files from Rhino to clo with this layer structure and it works pretty well
Should the pattern pieces be individual .ai files?
when I export to pdf and open in AI, it cuts off the pattern pieces :(
Can anyone tell me how I could convert pdf to dxf files? I've got a few handbags pdf but I'm not sure how to use them on this software. Thank you
Anyone figure this out, how can you edit the PDF out of CLO3D 6 with illustrator with out getting that message file not recognized. I can open any other PDF in illustrator.
Could anyone help, please? Having exactly the same problem as described here three years ago, but I wasn't able to find any solution
