2D Pattern - Exporting Patterns from Yuka(SuperALPHA: Plus Yuka Pattern CAD System)

Export patterns as a DXF file from Yuka in order to use them in CLO.

※ Note:

Things to Check Before Exporting Patterns

  • Confirm that patterns are closed shapes and all segments are connected.

  • Patterns must be closed in order to virtualize them in the 3D environment.

  • Confirm that patterns are not intersecting each other.

  • If patterns' light blue bounding boxes are intersecting, the overlapped area will not be exported

DXF-AAMA Export

  1. Follow the indicated guideline below:
    File ▶ EXPORT ▶ Set TIIP/AAMA (exps)

  2. In the Set DXF Export window’s Pattern Outer lines only check Margins (Cutting Lines) only.
Set the CAD type as Etc. and press OK.

  3. Follow the indicated guideline below:
    File ▶ EXPORT ▶ Set TIIP/AAMA (exp)

  4. In the Export DXF window’s File Type check AAMA.
After setting whether or not the pattern has any margins in Print Pattern Classification, click the Entire Area on the right.

  5. Press Reference on the Designate Export window to set the path to export the DXF and click OK.

  6. If a warning window saying “There is a warning pattern” pops up, click OK first and then check the pattern’s status on the window that appears afterwards.

  7. If all the patterns appear as “OK” then proceed to click OK to finish. If there are any that appear as “NG” find them and fix the problem. Patterns may have problems when outer and sewing lines are swapped.
