Pose (POS) Open/Save



Use this function to load an Avatar’s Pose or location information. Only if a pattern exists, the Simulation button is automatically turned on and the Avatar gradually changes from the current Pose to the new Pose. The Garments worn by the Avatar are also simulated.


Open Pose (Change)

Main Menu ▶ File ▶ Open ▶ Pose (Ctrl+Shift+P)

Save Pose

Main Menu ▶ File ▶ Save As ▶ Pose


Open Pose (Change)

  1. Follow the indicated guideline below:

    Main Menu ▶ File ▶ Open ▶ Pose (Ctrl+Shift+P)

    → The Simulation automatically turns on and the Avatar's Pose changes.

  2. While the Pose is being changed, the  Play Motion tool or  Simulation tool can be clicked to stop the Pose. 

  3. Click  Play Motion tool or  Simulation tool to restart the pose change.

Save Pose

  1. Follow the indicated guideline below:

    Main Menu ▶ File ▶ Save As ▶ Pose

    → The Save File window appears.
    → When there are more than two Avatars, select the appropriate one from the Save Pose window. (ver 5.2)

  2. Type in the file name and designate the path the file is saved to.

  3. Select Save.

    → The Pose (*.pos) file is saved.

※ Note:

  • Load Pose Type

    When importing a Pose with joints differing from the original Avatar, the Pose type can be set like below:

    Avatar Size +
    Joint Rotation & Position
      Applies the Avatar's Size, Pose, Motion Data (joint rotation) and Joint positions.
    Joint Rotation Only   Applies the Pose Motion Data (Joint rotation) only, while maintaining the Avatar's Size.

  • Cancel or re-load Avatars using the Ctrl + Z, Ctrl + Y keys (ver5.0.0.)
