[Property] Avatar Friction Setting

Objective

Increase avatar friction to prevent garment from sliding off during draping or animation.

※ Note: Adjusting the friction between the avatars and garments or between the garments allows desired draping direction. 

Location


3D Toolbar ▶  Select/Move ▶ Select Avatar ▶ Property Editor ▶ Static/Kinetic Friction Coefficient  


※ Note:

Static Friction Coefficient   The force of Static Friction keeps a stationary 3D garment at rest.
Kinetic Friction Coefficient   Once the Force of Static Friction is overcome, the Force of Kinetic Friction is what slows down a moving 3D garment.

 

Operation

  1. Follow the indicated guideline below:

    3D Toolbar ▶  Select/Move ▶ Select Avatar ▶ Property Editor ▶ Static/Kinetic Friction Coefficient  

  2. Enter desired value of Static or Kinetic Friction Coefficient.

  3. Click  Simulate to simulate according to the set value.
