Communication error between local and remote Sentinel HASP License Managers (H0040)

Cause of Error
The Server and Client PCs are unable to communicate with each other.

Solution

  1.  Type 'services.msc' in the Run window.

  2. In the Service window that follows, check whether or not the status of the ‘Sentinel LDK License Manager’ is ‘Running’.
If the status is not ‘Running’, right click and select Start.
If the status is ‘Started’, right click and select Restart.
       Reboot.

  3.  If this does not solve the problem, check both versions of the Server and Client PC’s HASP Drivers.
Make sure both versions are the same.
You are able to check the version under Diagnostics.

  4.  If this does not work, ask your Network Administrator to confirm the Port communication status between the Server and Client.
Check whether the 1947 Port is being used by another program.

Feature not found (H0031)

Cause of Error

Despite the dongle key has been recognized, the Feature ID of the program and the Feature ID of the dongle key are different. (This occurs when the wrong version of CLO 3D is installed - i.e. installed the Stand-Alone version for a Network dongle key, and vice versa)

Solution

Make sure the correct version of CLO 3D is installed.
ex> Purchased the Network version, but used the Stand-Alone version's installer.
  -> Re-install CLO 3D using the Network version's installer.

Sentinel HASP key not found (H0007)

Objective

Cause of Error
- When the HASP Key is not plugged in to the PC.
- Network Version only: the Client PC does not recognize the Server PC that the dongle key is connected to.
- When the HASP Key is recognized, but the Sentinel License Manager service fails to start properly.

Solution

Make sure the HASP is connected to the PC.

  1. Check the red light of the HASP Key. It should light up when plugged in to the PC.
  2. Check whether or not the HASP Key shows up in the ACC page (refer to the image below).

  3. If the red light, or the ACC page does not look equal to the image above, refer to the following manual, reinstall the Sentinel HASP Driver.

Solution

Check the number of current users via the link below.
Connect when one of the current users exit the program.
ACC Page

Click Sentinel Keys, on the left.

When the Key shows up as the image above, click Sessions, on the right.

The following page should display the current user(s).
