Communication error between local and remote Sentinel HASP License Managers (H0040)
Cause of Error
The Server and Client PCs are unable to communicate with each other.
Solution
- Type 'services.msc' in the Run window.
- In the Service window that follows, check whether or not the status of the ‘Sentinel LDK License Manager’ is ‘Running’.
If the status is not ‘Running’, right click and select Start.
If the status is ‘Started’, right click and select Restart.
Reboot. - If this does not solve the problem, check both versions of the Server and Client PC’s HASP Drivers.
Make sure both versions are the same.
You are able to check the version under Diagnostics. - If this does not work, ask your Network Administrator to confirm the Port communication status between the Server and Client.
Check whether the 1947 Port is being used by another program.
Cause of Error
Despite the dongle key has been recognized, the Feature ID of the program and the Feature ID of the dongle key are different. (This occurs when the wrong version of CLO 3D is installed - i.e. installed the Stand-Alone version for a Network dongle key, and vice versa)
Solution
Make sure the correct version of CLO 3D is installed.
ex> Purchased the Network version, but used the Stand-Alone version's installer.
-> Re-install CLO 3D using the Network version's installer.
