Reinforce edges of Patterns to withstand from drooping down by gravity when Simulating.
- Click on the
Seam Taping tool on the 2D toolbar.
- Select a segment Pattern to reinforce, or Click-and-drag also allows applying seam tapes.
- Activate the
Simulate.
→ The seam tape is now being applied to the selected segment and being reinforced.
Provide the options for seam tape extension.
- Click on the segment with seam tape applied with
- Set the Extend option in the Property Editor.
None Seam tape does not extend. To Outline Extend to the pattern outline. To Seam Taping Extend to another seam tape area of the intersected line. * The arrow highlighted on the segment indicates the direction from start to end.
📝Note:
- When extending a seam tape to another seam taping, please make sure there is an intersected seam tape for reference.
- If you apply Seam Taping Extend in the lower version (before ver 2024.2), both Start and End are assigned as To Outline in the higher version.

You can open pre-saved .zfab file to Seam Taping.
Please click the Seam Tape > Navigate to Property Editor > Seam Taping > Preset. On its right, you can find an button with a folder icon. Click and button, and select the desired .zfab file from the saved location.

If you don't have a .zfab file, you can manually adjust fabric properties under Detail option.

My question wasn't so clear I guess from your answer.

I would change the default hight value ( 10 mm) to the one I use most ( 5 mm) and save it as my default value.
I noticed that the 10 seam tape tend to ruin the edge where it's applied.

Oh!! :( Sorry for the misunderstanding. Unfortunately, the default value cannot be changed and saved at this moment :(
However, I will get our UX team's attention on this request!
