Objective
COLLADA is a commonly used 3D application format that can be exported from 3D tools such as 3DS Max, Maya, Poser, and DAZ Studio and used as CLO Avatar or Scene/Prop. For 3DS Max or Maya, install the “OpenCOLLADA” plugin (http://www.opencollada.org/download.html) and use it to export in COLLADA format, instead of using the default COLLADA exporter.
COLLADA files contain Geometry and Material, in addition to Rigging, Skinning, and Animation data. Avatar Motion Data can be imported into CLO in COLLADA file format, then saved as a *.mtn file, which is CLO's proprietary format.
